How fitting that Sarah and Sam’s wedding celebrations at the tranquil Spetchley Park Gardens near Worcester should be blessed with a scorching hot summer’s day, as their marquee had a theme inspired by travel, particularly to Morocco.
Sarah’s bridal preparations took place earlier in the day at The Wood Norton near Evesham, Worcestershire, where the French decorative interiors gave me some stunning backdrops. Sarah and her bridesmaids were whisked off to church in style in two classic Jaguar cars, then on to Spetchley’s Gardens for the celebrations that included the quintessential British summer pastime of a boys and girls cricket match. Guests could also turn their hands to a game of giant Jenga, which turned into quite a tournament with money riding on the winner-takes-all stakes!
We took some peaceful time out around the gardens for Sarah and Sam’s wedding photography. It’s such a perfect setting that we even came across a watercolour artist, to give you an idea of the beauty of the place. Back at the marquee the very talented Jessica Rhodes provided the tunes to get guests’ toes tapping.
